HCF was established in 2010 as an affiliate of the Central Kansas Community Foundation. Local leaders wanted to facilitate charitable giving opportunities for current, former and future residents of Halstead to make a lasting impact for generations to come. Governed by a board of directors with a diverse presence in the community, the foundation is working for positive change and is charged by the momentum of key leaders.
